Group Exercises
CARDIO COMBO - A 1/2 hour each of two types of cardio. This could be step, low impact aerobics, kickboxing interval trainingslide, BOSU, RESIST-A-Ball or ply metric training. If you like variety in your workout, you will love this class.
CARDIO JAM- Come ready to just have fun and sweat to any style of Aerobic Activity we offer. It’s a great class to kick-start your heart rate, improve stamina, and cross train your body into shape.
HIGH-LOW – A low-impact floor aerobics class that can be also done high impact, whichever you prefer. This is a great class for all fitness levels and easy to follow. It’s a high energy cardio class to burn calories with high or low impact moves.
*PILATES – Strength training focusing on the core muscles (back and abdominals) using the body as resistance. The RESIST-A-BAL, BOSU, or bands may be used with this workout.
PP (POWER PUMP) – This barbell based class will take your body to the EXTREME weight workout. Using the barbell and hand weights with upbeat music to sculpt and shape your muscles.
RESIST-A-BALL – A total body strengthening class done entirely with the RESIST-A-BALL.
SCULPT – this class is a whole body muscle conditioning class using tubing, hand weights, RESIST-A-BALL or BOSU.
STEP – A class with moderate to high intensity step moves with basic and advanced chorography blended but easy to follow, we call it brain candy to our steppers. Beginner and advanced options are demonstrated.
*KICKBOXING – What a way to jumpstart your heart rate. This popular class takes your workout to a new level. High energy kick box moves with great motivating music. Even though it’s high energy, low impact options are demonstrated.
*YOGA – A mind and body class that improves balance, strength, and flexibility. A blend of challenging but relaxing poses are demonstrated which release all the stress away.
* Indicates that these classes are taught for Tidewater Community College (TCC) students, members are welcome.
Please be aware that for safety reasons, proper footwear is required for all classes especially the BOSU.
Only cross-trainer or aerobic type footwear allowed, no running shoes.
